Chauncey Ranch AerialThe relationship between United Auto Group West and Telecom Advisors Group began in December of 1999, when the auto group hired Telecom to redesign its entire voice and data network. At the time the auto group included Scottsdale Jaguar, Scottsdale Acura, Scottsdale Audi, Pioneer Ford, and Honda of Tempe. Telecom had to look at the equipment and services at each location and figure out a way to tie them all together to achieve the best solution. Telecom achieved its goal by designing a voice network that allowed voicemail sharing, four-digit dialing and a data network that more than doubled existing bandwidth between sites. With the successful completion of this project, Telecom was confident that this was just the beginning of its business relationship with United Auto Group.

Chauncey Ranch Race TrackThe auto group contracted with Telecom Advisors Group in mid-2001 for all voice requirements for the new auto boutique in North Scottsdale, Chauncey Ranch. Initially, the scope of work was limited to design of the voice network for the campus, system acquisition and implementation, and any related project management. As work progressed, however, United Auto Group recognized several other areas that would require Telecom's expertise. These areas included design and implementation of all internal building conduit systems, external building-to-building conduit routes, review and design of all electrical layouts and specifications to ensure proper voice and data equipment operation, design of a fiber optic cabling plan to accommodate the data needs of the entire campus, and the order of new data facilities for future use on property.

Chauncey Ranch Room #2With the fiber backbone in place, Telecom was able to use Fusion Networking, an NEC-designed product, to connect all buildings with a seamless voice network and a fully redundant data network. With the addition of the Business Attendant System, manufactured and installed by NEC Business Network Solutions, United Auto Group is now able to answer and transfer all incoming calls for the entire property and others from one central location. Using these and many other technological implementations, Telecom Advisors Group and its chosen vendor/partners have brought United Auto Group to the leading edge of Automotive Dealer Technology.

Chauncey Ranch Room #1Telecom worked tirelessly to ensure that all equipment and facilities were installed in complete accordance with the Request for Proposal and the specifications of the equipment contracts. From meetings and walkthroughs to redesign after redesign, Telecom was dedicated to ensuring the success of the project and the satisfaction of the customer. The efforts of Telecom and a host of other vendors and partners will come to fruition in November of 2002 with the grand opening of United Auto Group's premier automotive center, Chauncey Ranch. The center is a showplace, not only for its attractive facility, but also for its high level of technology.
